Habit tracker: Loop Habit Tracker.

this is part 2 to my journey on being better: read below to know more.

So the last time i talked about how to start getting better, and i'm sorry to announce that hte notebook post is getting delayed.

but today i still have something interesting to still talk about: it's an app to tracks your habits in a simple clear way. loop habit tracker!

honestly this app is as simple as its name: its simple interface made it super quick to learn its use. and the cool thing is. the app is completely free. no ads, no purchase plans. nothing really.

here i have some screenshots to guide you through the app. unfortunately i do not have widgets so i used their app photos.

1. Homepage:

so to take all of these i had to change language but still some habits are in italian cause i wrote them!

as you can see, you get a simple clear interface and you can simply press longer on the cross to complete a task. if you click on the whole habit, you can there move your habits up and down to rearrange the order or click on the little pencil to edit the habit. pretty simple right?

2. editing section:

here you have all the tools. one thing i don't really like is that you can't have more than one repeat a day: think about my example here. i have to do skincare twice a day and for that matter i had to split the habit in two separate tasks: not too much to do but still annoying. but it's still a very useful habit tracker.

here you can add repeats, change colour and add reminders.

3. overview and habit strength:

in this page you get a quick overview of your habits such as your scores and how strong is your habit with this first diagram that shows your percentage in action: here by week but you can also customize the counting unit from days to weeks, months and years. the colors are the same as your habit's are.

4. history and best streaks:

so the first diagram shows us our history of basically the days we did our activity. you can edit the diagram in case you forgot to mark some days as done, and in case you messed up week you can also move the whole progress around.

then we can see our best streaks so the longest period of time in which we managed to keep doing our habit from day to day. e.g. i did skincare for 28 days in a row which is my best. in case you didnt complete the task a few times you get more of these like here:

5. frequency:

frequency is a diagram with dots that get bigger if you complete a task more than one time on the same day of the week: e.g. Friday or Saturday. this diagram helps to show which are the days in which you complete a specific habit. you may discover a preference for a day on the week for doing an activity!

6. widgets:

widgets can be added from you homepage and you can add any diagram they have and then you choose which habit you want to link it to. you can also have a completing button that allows you to mark completed habits for the day: they are specific too.

My final thoughts!

and now it's the part ya'll been waiting for: my own thoughts on this app!

overall i think that the concept is very intuitive and clear. it's a very good app for beginner users and works simply as a simple tracker. you won't get all those other fancy add-on's options but just to mark down and remember, it works| best part is that as stated in the beginning, the app is totally free: no ads and no in-app purchases.

one thing to note is that the percentage you earn can drop down if you stop doing something for a while, so you can loose progress: another way to keep you active.

★★★★½

that't the rating you get from me: 4,5 out of five. there is still room for improvement but as is i love this app!
